Job Description
Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products according to established operating procedures.
Learn and apply professional concepts, basic principles, and theories while solving routine problems under established policies and procedures.
Quality Assurance Responsibilities
- Compile data for documentation of test procedures, which may include stability program testing and formulation studies.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory and analytical equipment.
- Participate in preparing investigations, summaries, and reports.
- Review data for compliance with specifications and report abnormalities.
- Revise and update standard operating procedures as needed.
- Perform special projects involving analytical and instrument problem solving.
- Develop testing and analysis methods and procedures according to established guidelines.
Qualifications
- A degree is typically required.
- Little to no previous professional experience is typically required.
- The role normally involves detailed instructions on most work.
