Parsons is seeking an experienced Engineer Principal (FIDIC Engineer) for major infrastructure and construction projects.
The role acts as the Engineer under the Contract and the Employer's senior representative.
The position leads contract administration, strategic project oversight, and delivery through construction, commissioning, handover, and defects liability stages.
What You'll Be Doing
- Administer FIDIC contractual obligations, certifications, instructions, claims, variations, and extensions of time.
- Provide strategic leadership throughout project delivery, commissioning, handover, and defects liability periods.
- Oversee project controls, schedule performance, risk management, and key milestones.
- Lead commercial and contract management, including payment certification, claims evaluation, and dispute avoidance.
- Champion HSE and QA/QC compliance across project activities.
- Manage contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders to support project execution.
Requirements
- Substantial experience serving as an Engineer or senior representative on major infrastructure and construction projects.
- Experience administering FIDIC contracts and managing contractual, commercial, and project delivery matters.
- Ability to oversee contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders throughout project delivery.
- Ability to support safe, on-schedule, on-budget, and quality-focused project delivery.
