Role Overview
Work on Intelligent Transport System projects at project locations.
Implement projects and assemble ITS equipment on site.
Coordinate and maintain ITS system operations and maintenance activities.
Operations and Project Duties
- Monitor and manage adaptive traffic control systems.
- Collaborate with emergency services personnel to coordinate incident responses and public information.
- Prepare incident reports covering incidents, response measures, and resolutions.
- Notify the team about system or equipment incidents and their resolutions.
- Communicate with government officials from various departments.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly activity reports.
- Maintain records of incidents, actions taken, and system performance.
- Calculate quarterly availability metrics from incident reports.
- Compare inventory and spare parts to ensure components are available for maintenance and repair.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team on supplementary spare-parts procurement planning.
Required Tools
- Strong understanding of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and other basic tools is required.
- Driving skills for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers are an added advantage.
