Take the next step in your mining engineering career at one of Australia's most exciting and growing underground operations. As our Underground Mining Engineer , you'll play a key role in shaping mine designs, schedules and technical solutions that help deliver safe, efficient and sustainable production outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to influence operational performance while developing your expertise across multiple underground mining disciplines.

Working on an 8:6 roster with 12 hour shifts, this residential or DIDO opportunity offers an excellent lifestyle balance while contributing to the continued growth of Cowal's underground operation. You'll join a collaborative technical team supporting a site that continues to expand production and invest in its long-term future.

Based at our Cowal Operations and reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer (Underground), you'll:

Deliver practical mine designs and schedules that support safe, productive underground mining outcomes.

Partner with operations and technical teams to improve performance and achieve production targets.

Identify risks early and embed effective controls through sound engineering design and planning.
