About the Role
Seatrium is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Advanced NDT Inspector to deliver field service and support for offshore jack-up equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, commissioning, and NDT inspection of mechanical systems, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Deliver field service and support to customers
- Perform service activities according to company policies and safety standards in offshore, shipyards, ports, and other locations
- Investigate and troubleshoot product service issues
- Provide 24/7 on call emergency services as required
- Complete paperwork including field service reports, timecards, and expense reports
- Conduct NDT inspection of mechanical parts on jacking systems
- Commission OTD systems including installation, testing, and presenting to owners/surveyors/QA
- Service and troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Track company assets on sites and ensure maintenance
- Communicate project status to managers and department head
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent with experience support
- Minimum 2 3 years of field experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and installation of offshore jack up equipment in Oil & Gas sector
- 2 3 years of NDT inspection works
- PCN Level 2 in PAUT, UT, ECT or TOFD
- PAUT in Multisector, In Service certification
- Willing to travel globally
- Able to work independently and in a team environment

Job Description
- A Field Service Technician is to deliver the desired customer service and support.
- Continuous improvement of customer satisfaction.
- Maximizes customer retention and increases profitability by reducing wastage.
- Be fully responsible for HSE and work instructions while on site.
Responsibilities
- Perform service activities according to company policies and safety standards in offshore, shipyards, Ports, workshop facilities and any other locations.
- Investigate and troubleshoot product service issues.
- Provide 24/7 on call emergency services as required and engage Service Technicians and provide company services remotely
- Timely and accurate completion of paperwork including field service reports, timecards and expense reports.
- To compile any other ad hoc reports that may rise time to time project based.
- Maintains and develops project documentation, and reports.
- Preform equipment inspections and provide technical evaluations and solution.
- Promote an active safety environment and facilitate in investigating safety incidents.
- Communicate project status to managers and department head.
- Report directly to the Field Service Manager or his delegate during his absence.
- Track company asset on sites and assure it is maintained as per agreement with the contractors or the concern party engaged.
- Fully comply and adhere to company policies, procedures, memorandums, instructions and region circulars
Job Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with experience support.
- Minimum 2 3 years of field experience in servicing, troubleshooting and installation of equipment of offshore jack ups (Jacking system, deck cranes, skidders, anchor winches) in offshore field within Oil & Gas sector and 2 3 years of NDT inspection works.
- Experience with marine equipment for offshore jack up drilling rigs Letourneau design is advantage.
- Willing to travel globally
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- PCN level 2 in PAUT, UT, ECT or TOFD
- PAUT in Multisector, In Service certification
