Purpose And Description
Under the general direction of the Senior Licensed Engineer, the Licensed Professional Engineer is responsible for aiding in the management and administration of local, state and federal programs and activities related to county drains and other engineering matters as assigned.
The Engineer - Licensed Professional is involved in the engineer planning, designing, constructing, operating and maintaining wastewater control systems and may also supervise other staff who assist with wastewater functions.
This position may act as an engineering advisor and liaison for the division between various federal agencies, state agencies and local communities.
