Role Overview
The Mechanical Engineer III joins an R&D team in Hyderabad supporting new product development, sustaining engineering, and lifecycle management for laboratory equipment.
The role is a key individual contributor position owning mechanical subsystems and executing design changes for performance, reliability, and cost objectives.
Mechanical Design and Development
- Design, develop, and support mechanical components and assemblies, including mechanisms, enclosures, and structural elements.
- Own subsystems or modules through design, CAD modeling, detailing, and documentation.
- Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and design optimization for performance and manufacturability.
- Support prototyping, testing, and design verification activities.
- Use PLM and ECO/ECR change-management processes.
