Engineer II, Software Automation

• 2-3+ years of experience in software development, test automation, software verification, or a related engineering discipline
• Working knowledge of software verification and validation methodologies
• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages (Python, C#, C++, Java, or similar)
• Experience with Git, CI/CD systems, and modern software development practices
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Experience within the medical device or other regulated industry
• Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA Quality System Regulation, or other applicable software quality standards
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/test environments
• Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware ESXi
• Experience with test frameworks such as pytest or TestNG.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability or messaging standards (e.g., HL7, WCTP) or other structured data/protocol formats
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container/orchestration tooling (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical discipline.

Compensation + Benefits: The anticipated range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance. This position primarily works in a laboratory environment.
