Responsibilities:
Learn & build proficiency in flight safety processes, including Safety Issue Management, Safety Risk Assessment, customer safety guidance (FAA Guidelines).
Understand the standard work processes, apply them as part of safety risk assessments.
Participate in Internal Safety Review process to ensure accountability is maintained throughout the flight safety process.
Exhibit the project ownership for the defined milestones in terms of schedules & quality of deliverables.
Maintain flexibility to support urgent program flight safety concerns.
Develop quantitative models blending engineering insights and statistical methods to determine required actions.
Understands safety threshold guidance as it applies to both P&W internal and external customers; focusing on program-specific safety analysis guidance
Communicates and works effectively with different organizations
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to identify continuous improvement opportunities
