Responsibilities
- Respond to and attend guest repair requests
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- Transport equipment (e.g., tools, radio)
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut off valves for equipment and building disconnect keys
- Maintain maintenance inventory and request parts and supplies as needed
- Communicate daily activities and problems to other shift employees
- Demonstrate proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic/electronic controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment
- Program televisions and perform general maintenance and engineering related tasks
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license
- Universal CFC certification
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
