Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical education and related experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or continuous improvement role.
Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC), process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixturing, assembly methods, material handling, and process controls.
Experience developing work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with operators, technicians, vendors, and management.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS WHILE PERFORMING THE JOB:
Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, use hands to finger, handle, or feel parts; reach with hands and arms; and talk and/or hear instructions.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to differentiate shades and color to identify defects.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT OF THE JOB:
Low noise levels in office environment.
Occasional moderate noise levels and working near moving mechanical parts.
