Key skills for this role
Implement, manage, and troubleshoot network hardware such as routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls.
Support and maintain WAN/LAN infrastructure, including Cisco Meraki SD‑WAN, Wi‑Fi, and bandwidth optimization tools.
Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
Generate regular performance reports and forecasts for capacity planning.
Configure and maintain essential services: DNS, DHCP, IPAM, VPN (SSL, GRE, IPSec), and NAC solutions.
Ensure reliable delivery of core network services across the global environment.
Work with global IT teams and vendors to resolve incidents and implement changes.
Act as an escalation point for L1/L2 engineers and guide them through troubleshooting.
Participate in network audits and ensure compliance with InfoSec policies.
Support security technologies such as IDS/IPS, content filtering, and reverse proxy solutions.
