Role Overview
Vishay Semiconductors India Private Limited in Mumbai is seeking an Engineer EHS.
The role supports factory management and departments in preventing injuries, maintaining safe working conditions, and meeting EHS obligations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Advise factory management and departments on injury prevention and safe working practices.
- Conduct job safety studies and evaluate the effectiveness of preventive actions.
- Advise on personal protective equipment and plant safety inspections.
- Inspect work conditions and practices and recommend corrective measures.
- Investigate reportable accidents, dangerous occurrences, and industrial diseases.
- Maintain records of incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Promote safety committees and organize safety and environmental campaigns.
- Design and conduct EHS induction, refresher, and employee training programs.
What You Will Bring Along
- 4+ years of experience in the EHS domain.
- Experience implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 at a site.
- Ensure compliance with EHS legislation and liaise with government authorities.
- Identify and communicate new legal requirements relevant to the factory.
- Develop training modules and conduct environmental, occupational health, and safety training.
