Independent process and application oriented design of products and their components using CAD - Inventor (Computer-Aided Design). Preselection of suitable raw materials based on requirement profiles, creation of product and overview drawings according to the specifications of project engineers and product developers
Technical preliminary work and support for product developers or project engineers in the timely execution of product development within the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process
Independent review of design details of newly developed products, components, or filter systems for feasibility and plausibility, both theoretically on the CAD model and practically on prototypes or on site at suppliers/customers
Administration and maintenance of IF drawing management, administration of the drawing management/PDM system (Autodesk Vault), first point of contact and key user of the system, definition of (global) drawing standards
Management and archiving of product and project documentation within product development
Initiation and coordination of sample and prototype construction as well as production/confectioning trials in close cooperation with the confectioning technical center and/or production, including final evaluation
Implementation of and compliance with all legal and internal regulations and instructions in the HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) area
Qualifications:
Technical product designer, Technician or Engineering Graduate in the fields of plastics, process, mechanical or chemical engineering
Professional job experience of 2+ years is desirable, but not mandatory. A talented newcomer with potential to advance is also welcome
Good project management skills, Good engineering skills
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, basics of Lean Management, Product Design FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), basic quality management knowledge
Preferably a good product and market knowledge in filtration industries
