Role Description
Arcadis is recruiting a Civil Engineer to work on water and wastewater projects for the UK region from its design centres in India.
Role Accountabilities
- Undertake engineering design, analysis, calculations, modelling, reports, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Apply relevant codes, standards, regulations, and best practices to project deliverables.
- Deliver work to agreed quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Solve moderately complex technical challenges and support project leads with technical risks and design decisions.
- Perform self-checks, participate in technical reviews, and comply with quality procedures.
- Maintain accurate project records and technical documentation.
- Guide graduate and Level 5 engineers and review junior team members' work where delegated.
- Contribute to training, knowledge sharing, process improvement, and capability development.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, project teams, and other disciplines.
- Promote safe-by-design principles and comply with health, safety, environment, and wellbeing requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.E. or post-graduate qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Three to seven years of relevant experience in civil non-infrastructure, water, wastewater, network, or hydraulic design.
- Post-graduate qualification and registered or accredited professional status are advantages.
