Manage the maintenance team and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is completed properly.

Support Senior Technical Officers and Technical Officers with direction and departmental improvement efforts.

Monitor work handovers, report equipment faults, and prepare technical reports.

Ensure the team performs assigned work effectively and receives training on maintenance tasks.
Ensure the team understands assets and installations and that planned maintenance is completed on time.
Coordinate subcontractor visits, supervise assigned work, and manage work quality.
Prepare permits to work, obtain authority approvals, and maintain required documentation.
Prepare defect, issue, breakdown, damage, duty roster, spare-parts, and audit reports.
Liaise with customer managers and take responsibility for special projects assigned by the line manager.

Escalate shortages of equipment or tools and report accidents, incidents, near misses, and health events.
Develop and produce method statements, risk assessments, and COSHH documentation.
Ensure required permits are in place and employees receive statutory task training.
