Engineer - Automation

We are looking for an Industrial Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming, testing, and commissioning across Water & Wastewater, HVAC, Oil & Gas, and other industries.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, manage tasks effectively, deliver excellent customer service, and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, grow, and advance professionally.

Roles & Responsibilities : Develop and execute PLC programs and test plans to ensure reliable and functional automation systems.

Develop SCADA/HMI graphics and implement automation solutions based on client requirements.

Perform pre-commissioning activities, including cable termination verification, loop checking, and related checks.

Conduct field testing, commissioning, and SAT at client sites.

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications, I/O lists, and system architecture diagrams.

Maintain proper software versions, programming tools, and program backups.

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for automation systems.

Understand task requirements and apply appropriate technical skills and knowledge to deliver solutions.

Manage medium to high-complexity tasks in accordance with defined standards and procedures.

Document procedures, findings, root causes, and recommendations for completed tasks.

Work closely with Sales and Project teams to understand client requirements and develop suitable solutions.

Demonstrate resilience, persistence, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Maintain excellent interpersonal, consulting, communication, and technical presentation skills.

QHSE Responsibilities : Comply with all QHSE standards, policies, and procedures relevant to your work.

Actively participate in QHSE meetings and complete all required safety inductions and trainings.

Identify and report unsafe conditions; take corrective action where possible within your scope.

Follow guidance provided by QHSE officers and use PPE and emergency equipment correctly.

Support a safe work environment by cooperating with safety practices and encouraging others to do the same.
