Engine Field Service Technician

Qualifications

• Main location is Kamloops reporting to the Remote Mining West operation based in Hinton.
• We are seeking a new team member for a position that operates on a 7‑on/7‑off rotation with 12‑hour shifts under a collective bargaining agreement. The primary schedule will be day shift, though occasional night shifts may be required.
• In this role, you will support our customers across multiple locations within our operating area, with the potential to assist at our sister operations when needed.
• You will work at various mineral mine sites, performing diagnostics and repairs on both Cummins and non‑Cummins engines and equipment.
• We will require a journeyperson with red seal.
• Pre-access Drug and Alcohol testing will be required for some sites.
• -This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations and must meet the conditions of the company policy
• Education, Licenses, Certifications: Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Basic level field service work experience Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products Customer service experience
