The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) leads the company’s overall strategy, operations, financial performance, and long-term growth.
This role is responsible for setting the vision, aligning the executive team, and ensuring the organization delivers safe, profitable, and sustainable results in a highly regulated energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company’s strategic direction, business priorities, and growth plans.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, accountability, and execution against board-approved goals.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, performance management, and profitability improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, governance standards, and ESG expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, regulators, investors, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Drive operational excellence, risk management, innovation, and digital transformation across the business.
- Represent the company publicly and act as its senior spokesperson in strategic forums and industry platforms.
- Develop executive talent, strengthen organizational culture, and support succession planning.
Required Qualifications
- Proven executive leadership experience in the energy, utilities, oil and gas, or power sector.
- Strong track record in strategy execution, financial leadership, and stakeholder management.
- Deep understanding of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and operational risk.
- Experience working with boards of directors and leading senior leadership teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Profile
- Experience in Abu Dhabi or the GCC energy market.
- Exposure to renewables, energy transition, or large-scale infrastructure.
- Ability to manage complex public-private relationships and international partnerships.
- We are seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our energy business in Abu Dhabi.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic direction, operational performance, financial results, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
- The ideal leader will bring deep energy sector experience, strong board-level leadership, and a proven ability to drive growth in a dynamic and regulated market.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED863,000.00 - AED948,000.00 per year
