UPMC Chautauqua is seeking a full-time Endoscopy Technician to join their Procedural Gastroenterology Lab. The role involves preparing procedure rooms, maintaining endoscopic equipment, and assisting with specimen handling.

Responsibilities
- Care for and maintain all endoscopic equipment utilized in the G.I. Laboratory.
- Maintain supply inventory, rotate stock, and restock procedural rooms as needed.
- Assist in the preparation/obtaining of specimens, proper labeling, and logging.
- Prepare the procedure room correctly with the appropriate endoscope, equipment, and instruments.
- Anticipate the needs of the physician and what may be needed for the case.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous employment or training as an Endoscopy Technician, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Surgical Tech, or Central Service Technician preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- NYS Staff Exclusion List (NYSEL)

Overview

- Day shift schedule from 7am 3:30pm with on call responsibilities on weekends and holidays.
