Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and facilitates decision making and stakeholder management related to Employee Relations cases with high degrees of risk and complexity
  • Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders, determining performance management guidelines for the individual lines of business
  • Defines a comprehensive strategy for delivery of Employee Relations services, leading an organization of subject matter experts to deliver on commitments
  • Influences strategic Human Resource decisions and outcomes, managing risk as a control partner in collaboration with key stakeholders and continually building trust as a subject matter expert
  • Identifies opportunities to evolve the Employee Relations function, leading the change necessary to drive efficiency and mitigate risks
  • Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years knowledge and experience working with HR, Risk Management, Global Banking, Global Markets and/or Merrill or Private Bank
  • Ideal candidate must have excellent oral & written communication skills; ability to articulate complex concepts to a non-specialist audience
  • Ability to assimilate complex data into a results-based story and effectively present the results; including the ability to develop concise, executive level presentations
  • Strong enterprise mindset with the ability to understand and apply nuance based on business need
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated analytical and research skills - ability to communicate and analyze multi-dimensional data, draw conclusions, and evaluate business gaps & risks
  • Attention to detail, adept in handling quantitative data and ability to identify end to end impacts
  • A team player who acts across functions, proactive and focused on continuous improvement
  • A problem solver with a “can do” attitude, consultative approach, and client service mentality
  • Acts with a sense of urgency and drives issues through completion with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrates a sense of commitment to work and willingly assumes responsibility for accomplishing objectives; is dependable, and conscientiously follows through on commitments
  • Highly organized with ability to drive many competing priorities and multiple tasks concurrently
  • Strong PC skills including Copilot, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
