Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for an Emirati Arabic Language Translator and Linguist specializing in annotation work for large language models (LLM).
The role involves translating and localizing content, annotating datasets, and ensuring translations align with Emirati Arabic linguistic and cultural standards.
Regular tasks include quality assurance, proofreading linguistically annotated outputs, and actively contributing insights to refine AI language performance.
This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Emirati Arabic language, including fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
- Experience with translation, localization, and language annotation
- Strong analytical, research, and linguistic skills, as well as attention to detail
- Familiarity with AI-driven workflows or interest in natural language processing is a plus
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to evolving projects in a remote working environment
- Previous annotation or linguistic project experience is advantageous but not required
- Degree in linguistics, translation studies, or a related field preferred
