Job Description
The Product Controller role supports EMEA Currencies and Emerging Markets within a trading business.
The role delivers independent, accurate, and timely P&L and risk reporting for trading desks and senior leaders.
The position drives production efficiencies, maintains controls, and provides commentary that supports decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and report daily P&L and risk.
- Validate daily P&L explanations, including Volcker attributions and residual amounts.
- Identify, design, and implement controls and processes for P&L and risk production.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly P&L commentary to senior management.
- Work with Financial Control to investigate and resolve month-to-date P&L breaks.
- Partner with the business on robust controls and new initiatives.
- Coordinate across front- and back-office functions to resolve control and reporting issues.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a related area.
- Experience with P&L and month-end close processes.
