The Emergency Services Department offers the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) certificate programs and is housed within the state of the art Health Education Centre located inside Grande Prairie Regional Hospital (GPRH).
The Emergency Services Department is seeking six part-time sessional instructors to support the EMR and PCP programs. Responsibilities may include developing, delivering, and maintaining online content, supervising student placements, and facilitating hands-on lab instruction, based on departmental needs and successful candidates. Candidates wishing to facilitate hands-on lab instruction must be available to attend the NWP Health Education Centre in Grande Prairie, Alberta on the specific dates selected by the candidate at the time of the job offer. This appointment will run from August 15, 2026, to April 30, 2027.
Instructional time across lab instruction, placement supervision, and online components will be available for assignment based on instructor availability and program needs.
