Emergency Response Coordinator

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Emergency Response Coordinator to join the Emergency Response Team at our Carosue Dam Operations in the Northern Goldfields. This permanent and full-time opportunity will work an ongoing 8 & 6 roster, flying in / out of Perth.
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager this role will offer the opportunity to play a key role in site emergency preparedness and response activities, ensuring the safety of people, assets, and operations
What you can look forward to
Ensuring compliance with site HSE systems, WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022, specifically Reg 43, Part 10.2 Division 5, Schedule 22, and emergency management requirements.
Developing and maintaining site emergency management plans, procedures, and documentation.
Leading, mentoring, and developing Emergency Services Officers and Emergency Response Team (ERT) members.
Facilitating incident investigations, workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety leadership activities.
Acting as Incident Commander and participating in an after-hours emergency response roster.
Coordinating emergency preparedness programs, training exercises, and annual emergency response competitions.
Where you will add value
Experience in a similar Emergency Coordinator role, ideally within the resources sector.
Experience working FIFO at a remote site location would be highly regarded.
Excellent communication, training, presentation, stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate, negotiate & influence across all levels of site stakeholders.
Flexible and adaptable, with strong computer, record-keeping, and document management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Solutions-focused with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in underground, open pit, or processing mining environments.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, mining regulations, and industry best practices.
- Certificate III Mine Emergency Response & Rescue RII30719 (including PUAFIR207, RIIERR303E PUAFIR306, RIIERR303E, RIIERR305E, RIIERR306E, RIIERR307E, RIIERR309D), Certificate IV Healthcare HLT431120 (or equivalent),and CERTIFICATE IV in Health care TAE40122 and Drug and Alcohol Testing HLTPAT010
- Hold with a valid C Class Driver's Licence
