Role Overview
Perform clinical embryology services and procedures in an IVF laboratory.
The role offers exposure to new technologies and instruments.
Responsibilities
- Handle gametes and embryos manually.
- Perform intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection procedures.
- Perform pre-implantation diagnosis, including embryo hatching, biopsy, and tissue handling.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, perform equipment checks, and maintain stock.
- Communicate directly with patients and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Qualification in embryology or a related biological science discipline.
- At least two years of experience in an IVF laboratory environment.
- Demonstrated competency in clinical embryology procedures, including ICSI and PGD techniques.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to high practice standards.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a large, dynamic, skilled team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with commitment to patient care.
- Proficiency in laboratory information management systems and accurate record-keeping.
- Understanding of laboratory safety protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
