Full-time, mid-level Embedded Systems Engineer and Firmware Engineer role.
The role develops reliable embedded software and firmware for next-generation electronic products.
Work spans firmware architecture, low-level programming, hardware integration, system validation, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design firmware, hardware abstraction layers, drivers, real-time applications, and communication interfaces.
- Integrate firmware with processors, sensors, displays, memory, communication modules, and other hardware.
- Debug and optimize firmware using engineering test equipment and specialized debugging tools.
- Develop automated, unit, integration, functional, system-level, and hardware-in-the-loop tests.
- Support prototypes, product verification, production testing, firmware releases, updates, and field issue resolution.
- Maintain source code and technical documentation while collaborating with hardware, software, QA, manufacturing, and product teams.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, computer, or related engineering or computer science field.
- Professional experience in embedded systems, firmware engineering, embedded software, or electronic product development.
- Strong C and C++ programming skills with knowledge of microcontrollers, processors, memory, interrupts, timers, and peripherals.
- Experience with processor architectures, communication protocols, RTOS platforms, development tools, Git, and embedded testing.
- Ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, reference designs, technical specifications, and hardware documentation.
- Embedded Linux, bootloaders, device drivers, low-power design, secure boot, cybersecurity, or industry experience is advantageous.
