About the Company
Bellatrix Aerospace is seeking an engineer to support complete embedded system development.
Role Overview
The role covers embedded system requirements, architecture, hardware design, firmware development, integration, testing, debugging, and final qualification.
The position combines electronics hardware and embedded software development across complete systems.
Responsibilities
- Translate system-level requirements into hardware and software architectures.
- Design processor-based embedded systems, power supplies, interfaces, sensors, actuators, communications, memories, and peripherals.
- Perform component selection, schematic design, design reviews, and PCB design coordination.
- Develop and debug Embedded C/C++ firmware, device drivers, board-support software, and application-level software.
- Develop firmware for UART, SPI, I2C, CAN/CAN-FD, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, Ethernet, and other interfaces.
- Work with bare-metal and RTOS-based systems and perform board bring-up, validation, integration, and debugging.
- Use laboratory equipment to debug hardware and software issues.
- Develop test setups, test firmware, validation procedures, and engineering documentation.
- Participate in failure analysis, root-cause analysis, design improvement, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.
