Role

What You Will Do

• Set up and maintain industrial camera and lighting systems for EMS defect detection with senior engineers.
• Calculate sensor size, field of view, depth of field, and related camera, lens, and lighting parameters.
• Design lighting configurations that make specific manufacturing defects clearly visible.
• Build understanding of radiometry, photometry, and photogrammetry for calibration and optical inspection.
• Support camera calibration, stereo vision, and depth estimation experiments under guidance.
• Use OpenCV and classical computer vision to preprocess images, extract features, and prototype inspection algorithms.
• Integrate vision software with factory workflows and production systems.
• Capture, validate, and curate image datasets for model training and evaluation.

Preferred Qualification

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electronics and communication, or a related branch is preferred.
• Candidates from other backgrounds with a strong skill match may also be considered.
• Deep learning, linear algebra, and 3D geometry fundamentals for optics and machine vision are preferred.
