Role Overview
Sopra Steria is seeking an Embedded Software Verification Engineer with experience in real-time embedded software verification.
The role implements verification strategies through verification lifecycles to satisfy DO-178 objectives and provide verification results to certification and development teams.
The role supports embedded aerospace and defense systems.
Workplace
- The role may be performed onsite in Connecticut, in a hybrid arrangement, or fully remotely.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform verification activities, including artifact review, test case and procedure development, analysis, and results compilation.
- Collaborate with hardware, development, and certification teams.
- Ensure verification artifacts comply with DO-178C objectives.
- Work with simulation, integration, target hardware, and Hardware-in-the-Loop environments.
- Implement testing solutions against high-level and low-level requirements with accurate traceability.
- Identify, isolate, and analyze verification findings.
- Support schedules and quality objectives while interfacing with internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical support to junior engineers.
