Role Overview
Northrop Grumman is recruiting Embedded Software Engineers to support advanced missile defense spacecraft and interceptor systems in Chandler, Arizona.
The position may be filled at Level 3 or Level 4 and involves embedded software engineering in a national security environment.
Workplace and Clearance
- The role is 100% on-site in Chandler, Arizona.
- An active U.S. Government Secret clearance, current and within scope, is required at the time of application.
- No travel is expected. Relocation assistance may be available.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
- Develop object-oriented software in C/C++ in a Linux environment.
- Develop, debug, and test embedded real-time software.
- Work in RTOS environments including VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or equivalent systems.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
- Apply problem-solving and troubleshooting skills while communicating effectively.
Basic Qualifications
- Level 3 requires a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, a master’s degree with 3 years, or a PhD with 1 year.
