Role Overview
Northrop Grumman is recruiting Level 2 Embedded Software Engineers to support advanced missile defense spacecraft and interceptor systems in Chandler, Arizona.
The work involves developing technologies for national security applications and solving complex embedded software problems.
Workplace and Clearance
- This position is 100% on-site in Chandler, Arizona.
- An active U.S. Government Secret security clearance that is current and within scope is required at the time of application.
- Travel is not required.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
- Develop object-oriented software in C/C++ within a Linux environment.
- Develop, debug, and test embedded real-time software.
- Work in RTOS environments including VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or equivalent systems.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
- Use communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills to support complex engineering work.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience, or a master’s degree with 1 year of professional experience.
