Embedded Software Engineer (ALL Nationalities Can Apply)

Job Description

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer.
• Strong STM32 programming using STM32CubeIDE and HAL/LL libraries.
• ESP32 development using ESP-IDF or the Arduino framework.
• Good knowledge of Arduino for rapid prototyping.
• Embedded C/C++ programming experience.
• Experience with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN Bus, and RS-485 Modbus RTU.
• Experience interfacing sensors, ADCs, EEPROM, Flash memory, and LCD displays.
• Knowledge of bootloaders, firmware updates, debugging, and optimization.
• Experience with ST-Link, J-Link, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Familiarity with Git or another version control system.
• Ability to read schematics and work with hardware engineers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FreeRTOS.
• Experience implementing CANopen or Modbus protocols.
• Basic PCB hardware knowledge and electronics troubleshooting.
• Experience with BMS, industrial automation, or IoT products.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware for STM32, ESP32, and Arduino-based products.
• Integrate communication interfaces and peripherals.
• Debug and optimize embedded software.
• Support board bring-up and validation with the hardware team.
• Support testing, documentation, and product release activities.

Schedule

• Working days are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Saturday and Sunday are days off.

Benefits and Compensation

• Salary is AED 5,000 to AED 6,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person.
• The role may be located in Dubai DIC or Abu Dhabi ICAD.
