Job Summary
Develop HAL and peripheral device drivers for MCX, Crossover RT, and i.MX devices.
Support standalone bare-metal, ROM, and RTOS environments.
Deliver documented, tested software and support customer reference use.
Verify ROM code and software deliverables in pre-silicon RTL and emulation environments.
Support key customers and resolve system-level issues with global teams.
Key Challenges
- Develop ROM code before silicon is available.
- Debug and verify software in pre-silicon environments while targeting near-complete test coverage.
- Harden critical code sections against physical and logical attacks.
- Meet required security and safety standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with teams across SoC, marketing, systems architecture, SoC design, verification, validation, documentation, software, and related functions.
- Receive mentoring from senior members of the system ROM team.
