Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade embedded firmware using C/C++ for mission-critical systems
- Build and optimise real-time applications on microcontrollers and embedded Linux platforms using RTOS where required
- Own hardware-software integration across RF modules, sensors, communication interfaces, and power systems
- Implement and debug communication protocols, including SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet
- Lead board bring-up activities, subsystem validation, and system-level testing
- Diagnose complex issues using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, JTAG, and other debugging tools
- Improve performance, reliability, and stability in constrained and high-interference environments
- Collaborate closely with RF, FPGA, mechanical, and systems teams to ensure cohesive architecture
- Take end-to-end ownership of firmware modules, from architecture and implementation to field validation
- Experience in defence, aerospace, automotive, or other safety-critical systems
- Exposure to RF systems or signal processing
- Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (USB, PCIe, LVDS, etc.)
- Experience with firmware security, secure boot, or OTA updates
- Strong schematic-level debugging and EMI/EMC awareness
- Strong embedded systems depth
- Fast, reliable hardware-software integration
- Extreme ownership and execution bias
