Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling, public address, and fire alarm systems according to project specifications and safety standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Pull and terminate cables, mount and connect devices, and perform system integrations
- Conduct inspections, troubleshoot faults, repair or replace components
- Support testing and commissioning activities
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on site
- Complete documentation and reports
- Provide basic end user guidance when required
Requirements
- Practical experience in installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of ELV systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, structured cabling, public address, and fire alarm systems)
- Ability to read and interpret ELV drawings, single line diagrams, and technical manuals
- Hands on skills in cable pulling, termination, labeling, device mounting, panel wiring, and use of relevant hand and power tools
- Competence in basic testing, troubleshooting, and fault finding using multimeters, continuity testers, and other diagnostic equipment
- Understanding of relevant safety standards and site safety practices, including working at heights and in construction environments
- Minimum of a technical diploma/ITI or equivalent qualification in electrical, electronics, telecommunications, or a related field
- Qatar Driving License
- Transferable VISA
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Previous ELV or low voltage experience in construction, infrastructure, or facilities projects in Qatar or the GCC is an advantage
- Professional certifications or vendor trainings in ELV or security systems

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site role for ELV Technicians located in Doha, Qatar.
- The ELV Technicians will install, configure, and test ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling, public address, and fire alarm systems according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics, pulling and terminating cables, mounting and connecting devices, and performing system integrations.
- The role also involves conducting inspections, troubleshooting faults, repairing or replacing components, and supporting testing and commissioning activities.
- ELV Technicians will coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on site, complete documentation and reports, and provide basic end user guidance when required.
