Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, intercom, structured cabling, fire alarm, and public address systems
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and compliance
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts
- Coordinate with project teams and supervisors
- Document work performed and respond to service calls and maintenance requests
- Support system upgrades and assist with commissioning
- Provide clear communication to clients and colleagues about technical issues and resolutions
Requirements
- Strong technical skills in installation, configuration, and maintenance of ELV systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, intercom, fire alarm, PA, and structured cabling)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts
- Proficiency in using hand tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field
- Previous experience as an ELV Technician or similar role preferred
- Willingness to work on site across Dubai, including occasional extended hours

Role Description
- The ELV Technician is a full time, on site role based in Dubai.
- Install, configure, and maintain Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as CCTV, access control, intercom, structured cabling, fire alarm, and public address systems.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure systems function reliably and comply with relevant standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, coordinate with project teams and supervisors, document work performed, and respond to service calls and maintenance requests.
- Support system upgrades, assist with commissioning, and provide clear communication to clients and colleagues about technical issues and resolutions.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in installation, configuration, and maintenance of ELV systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, intercom, fire alarm, PA, and structured cabling).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts, with sound knowledge of relevant standards and safety practices.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools for fault finding, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and clients on site.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accurate documentation of work orders and reports.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field; ELV specific training is an advantage.
- Previous experience as an ELV Technician or in a similar role within IT, security, or building systems is preferred.
- Willingness to work on site across Dubai, including occasional extended hours, and adherence to company safety and quality procedures.
