Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on elevators and escalators, including inspections, adjustments, lubrication, and replacement of parts
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
- Carry out repairs and test equipment to confirm proper performance and compliance with safety standards
- Respond to service calls, attend breakdowns, and document work performed
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other field staff
- Interact with customers or site representatives and explain work completed
Requirements
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering (or equivalent vocational training)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in elevator/escalator installation, service, or maintenance is preferred
- Knowledge of elevator safety codes, standards, and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals, and service documentation
- Physical ability to work at heights, in shafts, and in confined spaces
- Valid UAE (or transferable) driving license and willingness to work shifts, on call rotations, and emergency call outs

Role Description
- Full time, on site role for Elevator Service Technicians/Troubleshooters based in Dubai. Involves performing routine and preventive maintenance on elevators and escalators, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, carrying out repairs, and testing equipment.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on elevators and escalators, including inspections, adjustments, lubrication, and replacement of parts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Carry out repairs and test equipment to confirm proper performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Respond to service calls, attend breakdowns, and document work performed.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other field staff.
- Interact with customers or site representatives and explain work completed.
Qualifications
- Strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills, including preventive and corrective maintenance of elevators and escalators.
- Proficient Troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
- Field Service experience, including on site diagnostics, repairs, and working in diverse building and construction environments.
- Customer Service skills to communicate clearly with clients, site managers, and end users.
