Electronics Technician for SFSC Technical Support Services

Work with customers, partners and technical support to resolve escalated issues.

Demonstrate positive customer relationship building and management skills.

Conduct Operator Training Class presentations and On the Job Training of Electronic Technicians.

Perform 90-day preventive maintenance duties on meteorological equipment as prescribed by the technical manual.

Qualifications

Associate degree preferred or similar experience in electronics, electrical theory or similar discipline desirable and or military training equivalent.

2-5 years of repair of electrical, electro-mechanical or electronics related equipment.

Computer literacy with standard business applications.

Complete competence at utilizing test and diagnostic equipment such as digital voltmeter, AC clamp meter and other electronic test devices.

Fully adept at reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and theory of operation manuals.

Thorough understanding of principles of AC and DC power, various AC and DC supply circuit components.

Appropriate safety techniques and practices associated with job requirements.

Ability to write business reports, correspondence, procedures, effectively present information and respond to customer questions.

Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

Good troubleshooting, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication skills, customer relations skills, and attention to detail.
