Electronics Engineer In-Service Electrical - Submarines

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Electronic Engineer to join our In Service Electrical Department at Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby. The In-Service Electrical Department supports the Reactor Control and Instrumentation, Power Systems and Plant Sensors equipment across the UK.

You will be reviewing and agreeing high level electrical requirements including their testability.

Analysing and translating high level requirements into a validated design for the electrical component.

Designing and implementing electrical designs to meet the high level requirements and design constraints/standards.

Analysing electrical designs for functional behaviour, including modelling and simulation to demonstrate that the design meets the high level requirements

Participating and supporting capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for the department, in conjunction with the department managers.

Developing, implementing, documents, and maintains policies, procedures, associated guidelines, tools and training as required.
