Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Electronic Technician role based in Dubai.
The technician will install, test, commission, maintain, and repair electronic systems and equipment.
Core Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission electronic systems and equipment used in construction, automotive, and recycling technologies.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, soldering, and electronic component replacement.
- Respond to client service requests and help minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
Service and Improvement
- Work closely with the after-sales service team to support client service requests.
- Follow applicable safety standards and support continuous improvement of technical processes.
- Occasionally train clients on proper equipment use and basic maintenance.
Technical Qualifications
- A strong foundation in electronics technology and practical experience with electronic components and systems is required.
- Proficiency in soldering and circuit-board component repair or replacement is required.
- The candidate must be able to troubleshoot electronic and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- A solid understanding of electricity principles and safe work practices in low- and medium-voltage environments is required.
- Hands-on industrial or automotive electronic equipment maintenance and repair experience is required.
- A relevant technical diploma or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field is required.
Additional Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work independently and within a team are required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English are required; Arabic is advantageous.
- Familiarity with industrial and automotive safety regulations and standards is required.
- Previous service or after-sales support experience in the Gulf or Middle East is a plus.
