The Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Radiation Effects (RE) department is split between a test team working hands on in our state-of-the-art EMC facility to simulate environments, and a highly skilled project consultancy team that is embedded across all projects within MBDA to ensure good EMC practice & design. You'll gain experience within both teams, including hands on testing of MBDA's missiles, subsystems and equipment in our accredited EMC Test Facility. Our facilities are amongst the best in the world and include 3 anechoic and 2 reverberation chambers - with capabilities to be further increased through a brand-new test facility, opening in 2027!
This programme is structured to also provide you the opportunity to get involved in what we do elsewhere in the company. Depending on your preference, this could include being based at one of our other UK sites in Stevenage and Bolton.
The role will allow you to work within a technically challenging area of MBDA, and at the end of the programme you'll move in to one of the teams you've experienced.
Work in a technical results-oriented function.
Benefit from working among experienced test and project EMC engineers.
Benefit from specific formal and informal training that will aid your personal development.

Work on a range of products across all MBDA projects, which could include missiles and weapon systems.
Potentially travel, to support EMC activities external to MBDA (integration support, other facilities).
