Electro-Optical Engineering Co-Op (Waterdown, CAN) (42671)

Knowledge of basic optics principles:

Laser Systems

Geometrical Optics, Imaging, Lens Design

Radiometry

Electro-magnetic waves propagation

Thin-film optical coatings

Experience in experimental optics

Experience with standard electrical test equipment

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Experience with Matlab or a similar software package

Strong programming or lens design skills are an asset

Enrolled in an Engineering Physics Degree Program or related field

Must be able to complete a 16 month Co-Op term starting May 2026

Currently enrolled and in good standing with co-op program through accredited university

Able to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance
