Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, test, and commission Low Voltage electrical systems
- Install power and lighting systems, distribution boards, panel boards, and switchgear
- Carry out cable laying, cable pulling, glanding, dressing, and termination
- Install cable trays, trunking, conduits, raceways, and containment systems
- Perform electrical testing, continuity checks, insulation resistance tests, and troubleshooting
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and single line diagrams
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved shop drawings, and local regulations
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
- Report defects, material shortages, and installation issues to the supervisor
- Attend testing and commissioning activities and rectify punch list items
- Follow all HSE policies and electrical safety procedures
Requirements
- Experience in installing, terminating, testing, and commissioning Low Voltage electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and single line diagrams
- Knowledge of HSE policies and electrical safety procedures
