Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician Technician role based in the United Arab Emirates.
The role installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and equipment used in interior and exterior contracting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on lighting, wiring, panels, and related electrical fixtures in wood and aluminum structures.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project plans.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform preventive maintenance.
- Ensure electrical work complies with safety regulations, electrical codes, and company standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and other technicians across contracting site teams.
- Document completed work and support inspections and testing for reliable electrical performance.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in electricity and electrical work for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Experience maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles applied to installation, load calculations, and system safety.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and testing and measuring tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project plans.
- Previous construction or contracting experience, ideally involving wood and aluminum structures.
- Good communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional site teams.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in electrical technology or a related field.
- Local licenses or permits are an advantage.
