About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Electrician to join our Infrastructure Services team based in North Brisbane. You’ll be working on Energex Network installations - High Voltage and Large-scale commercial & industrial installations e.g. Powering Hospitals, major shopping centres, high rise buildings.
As an Electrician your tasks will include, but not be limited to
Interpreting drawings, specifications, and manuals to complete infrastructure electrical works
Problem-solving and reporting in line with job and safety requirements
Planning tasks and ensuring appropriate equipment and resources are on hand
Ensuring full compliance with OH&S standards, codes, and project regulations
Communicating effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal team members
What you’ll bring
A current unrestricted QLD Electrical Licence
A current manual Driver’s Licence
Previous experience with Energex/Ergon networks (preferred but not essential)
Familiarity with high-voltage infrastructure, substations, large customer connections or underground/overhead reticulation (ideal but not mandatory)
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
