Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role supports electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting for interior fit-out projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, layout plans, electrical schematics, and related documentation.
- Perform inspections, diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure work complies with local regulations and safety standards, including safe tool and PPE use.
- Coordinate schedules with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades.
- Document completed work, report issues, and recommend reliability improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electricity and practical work with wiring, fixtures, panels, and related equipment is required.
- Experience maintaining and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential interiors is required.
- Candidates need troubleshooting ability and an understanding of electrical engineering principles for building services.
- A relevant electrical technical certification or diploma is required.
- Familiarity with UAE electrical codes, standards, safety regulations, tools, and PPE is required.
- Trade licensing or local authority approval is advantageous.
- Interior fit-out, joinery, construction, or related GCC experience is preferred.
Work Setting
- The position is on-site in Dubai and involves working as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
