Job Description
Parsons is seeking an Electrical & Telecom Inspector in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role conducts site inspections to verify electrical and telecommunications works against contract specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
What You Will Do
- Inspect street lighting, ITS, MCC, telecom installation or relocation works, and related electrical or MEP interfaces.
- Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
- Confirm that approved materials are used.
- Maintain diaries, photo records, inspection files, and reports.
- Track Inspection Requests and document non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, survey teams, and testing teams.
- Identify issues, recommend solutions, and report progress to the ARE or RE.
- Support as-built records and installed quantity checks for payment or change work.
- Perform work safely and remain aware of public safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of inspection experience on infrastructure or utilities projects with electrical or telecommunications scope.
