About the Role
Client of Universal Staffing Services is seeking an Electrical Technician for Qatar District Cooling Company in Doha. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of electrical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (breakdown & emergency), and rectification to all electrical systems and equipment inside the plants, buildings
- Troubleshoot, check and maintain the existing power systems and electrical installations for all kinds of equipment and provide the complete installation of new systems
- Troubleshoot, maintain and diagnose electrical equipment including SWGR, MCC, VFD, MOTORS, ATS, Electrical Parts of YK Chillers, and Electrical Distribution Panels
- Execute and install cable pulling, wiring terminations, cable trunking, cable ducts, panel boards, electrical distribution panels, manual station and other electrical systems
- Test and troubleshoot electrical connections, equipment and controls after completing preventive maintenance jobs
- Provide technical solutions and maintenance for all electrical systems installed within QC Buildings
- Troubleshoot, maintain and diagnose motorized valves, HVAC systems, generating set, synchronization panels, fire fighting systems, motors lighting, ELCB systems, gantry & overhead cranes
- Generate technical layouts and technical reports
- Understand and implement the basis of the Computer Maintenance Management Systems
- Perform thermographic and analysis for the electrical equipment
- Provide assistance and guidance to other technical teams
- Comply with ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements
Requirements
- Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years working experience
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain SWGR, MCC, VFD, MOTORS, ATS, Electrical Parts of YK Chillers, and Electrical Distribution Panels
- Experience with cable pulling, wiring terminations, cable trunking, cable ducts, panel boards
- Knowledge of HVAC Systems, Generating Set, Synchronization Panels, Fire Fighting Systems, Motors Lighting, ELCB Systems, Gantry & Over Head Cranes
- Ability to generate technical layouts and reports
- Understanding of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Ability to perform thermographic analysis for electrical equipment

Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (breakdown & emergency), and rectification to all electrical systems and equipment inside the plants, buildings.
