Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on bakery production lines.
- Inspect, align, and adjust shafts, pulleys, and belt tensions.
- Complete oil replacement, lubrication, and greasing schedules for rotating equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical motor bearings, couplings, and drive assemblies.
- Perform welding and fabrication for frames, guards, and machine supports.
- Maintain and repair pneumatic systems, including valves, actuators, and air lines.
- Perform plumbing work on water, steam, and compressed air lines for bakery equipment.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new bakery machines.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, hygiene policies, and food industry regulations.
- Maintain maintenance logs, spare parts records, and equipment histories.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Requirements
- Ability to perform maintenance and repairs on bakery production lines and associated equipment.
- Ability to work with electrical motors, bearings, couplings, and drive assemblies.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems, including valves, actuators, and air lines.
- Ability to perform welding, fabrication, and plumbing work for bakery equipment and supports.
- Ability to follow safety standards, hygiene policies, and food industry regulations.
- Ability to maintain accurate maintenance logs, spare parts records, and equipment histories.
